1820 – 1893
Chirurgo all’Ospedale Maggiore di Torino, dal 1864 insegnò Patologia Chirurgica e Clinica Chirurgica Propedeutica all’Università di Torino. Fu anche Assessore all’Igiene e Senatore del Regno. Autore di importanti pubblicazioni medico-scientifiche. Lasciò in eredità al Comune di Torino un patrimonio, che superava il milione di lire, a beneficio delle scuole.
Surgeon at the Ospedale Maggiore of Turin, ever since 1864 he taught Surgical Pathology and Clinical Surgery Propaedeutics at the University of Turin. He was also Alderman to Hygiene and Senator of the Kingdom. Author of important medical and scientific publications. He left a legacy to the City of Turin which exceeded one million lire, for the benefit of the schools.
